PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Afripanel delivered an expansion for Witkoppen Clinic in Fourways to help the facility respond to increased demand. The project focused on the clinic’s front-of-house patient areas, creating additional capacity where visitors are received and where they wait for services.

PURPOSE OF THE BUILDING

The project relieved pressure on the existing reception and waiting areas by increasing patient-facing capacity and creating a more organised arrival and waiting environment.

BUILD DESIGN AND LAYOUT

The expansion incorporates an open-plan reception area together with two new waiting rooms. The straightforward arrangement increases the clinic’s usable patient-facing space while keeping the reception function central to the arrival process.
