PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Afripanel delivered the Cradock facility under a different sponsorship arrangement, with Vodacom supporting the project while the end user remained the same as the preceding Thuthuzela Care Centre project. The project followed the same core brief: provide a modern, purpose-built modular environment to replace older facilities
and better support the work carried out by the end user.

PURPOSE OF THE BUILDING

The facility provides the same end-user function in a newer and more practical building environment, supporting healthcare, community-support and justice-related services.

BUILD DESIGN AND LAYOUT

The building was configured around the same functional principles as the Diepsloot project, with space for multiple user groups and the professional teams supporting the centre’s operations.
