PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Afripanel delivered a new Thuthuzela Care Centre facility at Carletonville Hospital. The project follows the same core T.C.C. brief as Afripanel’s other Thuthuzela Care Centre projects, creating a newer, more modern building environment designed to support the centre and its multidisciplinary teams.

PURPOSE OF THE BUILDING

The facility provides a modern environment better suited to the operational requirements of the Thuthuzela Care Centre and the different people and professional teams who need to use the centre at the same time.

BUILD DESIGN AND LAYOUT

The building was designed to accommodate both victims and perpetrators simultaneously, with spacious areas for staff, prosecutors and members of S.A.P.S. The arrangement supports multiple functions within one facility while providing practical working space for the professional teams involved.
