Thuthuzela Care Centre – Diepsloot

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Afripanel delivered a purpose-built modular facility for the Thuthuzela Care Centre in Diepsloot, Gauteng, for the Department of Health. The project replaced ageing existing T.C.C. buildings with a newer, more modern environment designed to better support the centre’s daily operations and the professional teams who use the facility.

PURPOSE OF THE BUILDING

The project modernised the centre’s physical infrastructure and created a more suitable environment for service delivery, staff and the different groups who need to access the facility.

BUILD DESIGN AND LAYOUT

The building was designed to accommodate victims and perpetrators simultaneously, with spacious working areas for staff, prosecutors and members of S.A.P.S. The layout supports several functions within one facility while remaining practical for day-to-day use.
